Monthly Day of PrayerHeroic Service in the Church: The Life and Legacy of Venerable Bruno Lanteri
Fr. Leland will share about the heroic holiness and service of Venerable Bruno Lanteri, founder of the Oblates of the Virgin Mary. Fr. Lanteri lived through times of great upheaval, and was instrumental in rebuilding the Church in his day and raising up a wave of holiness among God’s people. His teaching and witness continue to be a blessing to the Church today, especially through the ministry of his spiritual sons, the Oblates of the Virgin Mary.
The Monthly Day of Prayer is an opportunity to take time out of your busy and hectic life to focus on God. The day begins at 9:30am with Continental breakfast and includes two conferences by our OLPH priest, the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, lunch, and Mass. Time for adoration, private prayer, or meditation on our beautiful grounds is also provided. The day concludes at 3:15pm. The cost is $45.00.

Matt Talbot #112 Men's Spiritual Weekend RetreatA Matt Talbot retreat is for people of all faiths and is an opportunity for recovering alcoholics to enhance their spirituality and sober way of life. The people who attend these retreats are attending attend the 12-step program through AA. The Matt Talbot retreat is private, and everything is confidential. Save the date for this upcoming retreat. Choose from a private room, or a shared, double occupancy room, or as a commuter (no room).

I was ordained a priest on May 26, 1973. Having gone to college in South Orange, Cullman in Alabama, and the Immaculate Conception Seminary in upper Bergen County. I have served assignments at two hospitals, and parishes located in Pequannock, Wayne, Paterson, Madison, East Hanover, again in Paterson, and now as pastor in Saint Therese and Saint Gerard both in Paterson. I ended up as the Director of Pastoral Care at Straight and Narrow, also in Paterson. I am now in semi-retirement and living at a parish St Cyril and Methodius in Clifton.

Ignatian Preached Retreat—EnglishThis silent retreat will introduce you to the great themes of the Spiritual Exercises in a group setting. The schedule includes conferences each day, daily Mass, and an opportunity to meet at least once with the retreat director for Confession and/or spiritual direction. Conference topics center on Ignatian spirituality, prayer, and discernment. The cost is $525.00 per person for a private room and $360.00 per person for a shared room (retreatant to locate appropriate roommate where silence can be maintained).

A series of six 1-hour conferences on varying topics is offered throughout the retreat. In addition, the opportunity for Confession is available. 30-Day Retreat In this retreat, one of our priests guides the retreatant through the full course of the Spiritual Exercises as outlined by St. Ignatius of Loyola. This retreat requires a completed application and an interview with the retreat director before it can be booked.
